We, Véronique and Jean-Pierre, invite you to come and have a Provencal break at the Gîte du Vigueirat classified 4 stars by Bouches-du-Rhône Tourisme, located in Camargue Regional Park and close to the city of Arles, a city with a historic heritage. exceptional.
This very old house, built in the XVII th century near the village of Mas Thibert, on a private plot of 3 hectares planted with trees, has retained all its character and its charm of yesteryear with its walls in Fontvieille stones.
A hut and tables await you in the undergrowth for an outdoor picnic near the nature reserve.
Walks and fishing in the heart of nature, swimming in the swimming pool in the summer or burning chimneys in winter, will pleasantly enhance your future stay.
True haven of peace and rest after beautiful walks in the many surrounding sites, its geographical location is a real asset much appreciated by vacationers.

Summary: We stayed here with our sons who are 7 and 2. Véronique was really responsive to my queries before we travelled and very relaxed about our delayed arrival, which was a relief given we had a toddler in tow and the holiday traffic was shocking. The house is clearly a labour of love; it was spotless, uncluttered and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom well designed with a lovely big shower and plenty of hot water. The garden has two playhouses and Véronique has collected a crate of plates, cups etc to go with them. The instruction manual for the house was incredibly thorough and included the manual for the coffee machine (invaluable!) and opening times for local supermarkets. It was an absolute delight to walk out in the morning and pick blackberries and figs from the canalside and then to sit out on the terrace in the evening after a barbecued dinner; the peace and quiet were a treat and we were well located for several great day trips.
